Embracing Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is known as the ‘Snow-laden Mountain Province’. It is a state in northern
India nestled in the Western Himalayas. Characterized by extreme landscapes featuring
towering peaks and extensive river systems, it is one of India's thirteen mountain states.

Himachal Pradesh, also called Dev Bhoomi or Dev Bhumi, meaning "Land of Gods," offers a
variety of adventure tourism activities such as skiing in Manali, paragliding in Bir Billing, rafting
in Kullu, and trekking in Spiti Valley. The region's picturesque landscapes, including the stunning
Spiti Valley with its ancient Buddhist monasteries, attract adventure seekers and nature lovers
alike. Shimla, the state capital, boasts Asia's only natural ice-skating rink, adding to the state's
allure for travelers seeking both thrills and cultural experiences.
